Aris Rammos Professional Photographer

Aris Rammos was born in 1978, in Thessaloniki, Greece, where he lives and works.

His interest in photography began when he was a child. He always loved to take pictures while watching people’s expressions. He loved portraits and that’s how the story begins. He always had his camera with him in order to be ready to grasp a moment, an expression, a smile or a nod.

His career as a photographer begins in 2006, during the Thessaloniki Fashion Forward, where he was invited to take pictures of the backstage and the catwalk of the MI-RO’s fashion show. Anna Kapsali (famous Fashion Stylist & Editor) loved his work and asked him to work as a photographer during her next fashion shows in Sofia. Next step was Rome. His photos from that fashion show were published in Vogue magazine.

In 2007 he started working for Soul and later for Glow magazine, where he still works. In 2009, the leading publishing house, Liberis Publications, was interested about ArisRammos’ work and asked for collaboration for Life & Style, Vogue and Status magazines. During the same year he accepted and started working for Labrakis Publications for its magazines, BHMAGAZINO and BHMAGOURMET. In 2010, he also worked for L’Officiel magazine.

Since 2011 he is the official photographer for Thessaloniki Film Festival and Thessaloniki Documentary Festival.

His photographic artworks have been exhibited in galleries since 2011.
In 2011 and 2012 he started doing his own photo exhibitions:

  • Release exhibition (Kalos&Klio Show Room, Thessaloniki, 2011)
  • Duet exhibition for XV Biennale De La Mediterranee “SYMBIOSIS” (MIET, Thessaloniki 2011)
  • Untitled exhibition for Photobiennale 2012 (Lola Nikolaou Gallery, Thessaloniki)

During his career he had the chance to take portraits from famous people such as Alexander Payne, Film Director & Oscar winner (2011) and Din & Dan, Dsquared (2010).
